Baltimore Real Estate Market Report -January 2020 Our real estate🏠 market continued to be steady and many of the numbers remained around the same as the previous month. Baltimore City:Last month’s the residential real estate market saw 1,093 active listings which is up quite a bit from December’s 736. But the number of homes sold went down from 727 to 625. In addition, the average DOM (Days on Market ) went up. We saw that last month it was at 90 days compared to just 58 in December. Interestingly the months of inventory supply (MIS) is at 3.3%, exactly the same as it was in December. Baltimore County:Last month both the average price as well as DOM (days on market) stated basically the same. Average price was 284K in December and was 283K in January. DOM in December was 43 and was 45 in January. Homes Sales dipped to 607 from 866 in December. Inventory supply here also continued to trend down, going from 2.1 to 1.9. All of these changes affect home values,📈 including yours.
